KLZE and KLDE Comparison!
The JDM version of the KLDE(AKA KL03) engine is the KLZE. The KLZE engine is from Japan. Here is an indepth comparisons of the engines. There is 4-5 different versions of the 2.5L that is used by Ford and Mazda. The engines use the same piston height, bore and stroke, rod length, deck height, crank, and combustion chamber. NOTE: '*' - information is forsure, the ones that don't have the '*' are probably very close. I am in process of figureing out everything.
I have put together of a list of people that sell KLZE engine for the Ford Probes. On E-bay they usually run about $800-1400 for the engine maybe with a tranny (some have tranny's included). The Prices listed where quoted as of May 10ish, 2003. I asked for a price quote on several items: KLZE, 5speed Transmission with Limited Slip Differential, ECU, Air Meter and a Wire Harness. (NOTE: these are cost that the businsse has quoted to me. Prices may/will vary from time to time.)

FRONT CLIPS
